I had the 95 spindles with the M2300K brake s I bought. Then, I wanted to get some brake backing plates to funnel air and _enclose_ (seal) the back of the rotor to this plate to FORCE air THRU the rotor (not just aim air AT the rotor...). That deal fell thru (guy promised a lot and delivered none). Pretty pissed, cause I spent money to get new spindles, and machining all over again, not to get any further.
That in mind, I needed the 96+ spindles cause of the arm position (as you mentioned). Thats it. Not really for any more acherman, or moving outward of 8mm (1/3") more.
