Post what do I do if I want to design cars

I think I want to design car for a living, but I have no clue how to go about it. Do any of you guys know what classes I should take? I think it would be cool to design cars or really cool to work in a group like SVT, or SVE, or SVO

engineering basically. lots and lots of math, plenty of physics. and draw lotsa stuff too.
Cars are very complicated. ask yourself, do you want to design concept cars? that involves more of an art background. do you want to design actual, production cars? you'd need the math/engineering. do you want to design performance cars? math, engineering, and physics. do you want to modify already designed cars and work in SVT? be a gearhead.

I live in the Detroit area, and here we have the Center for Creative Studies. It's a college that specializes in design of that type. All of the automotive companies here recruit heavily from this school.

Check out their website:
http://www.ccscad.edu/

You might want to contact them and ask what type of classes you should take, and what they look for in applicants. You'll want to contact the Transportation Design department.
