Anyone do a 1" engine setback

Looking to move the motor back on my 1989 Mustang with Griggs. Anyone do this, have photos...?

Wow, you just don't stop! With your wheels 2" forward, it's like you've already moved the engine 4" back!

I hope to do it with a k-member swap over the winter.

I just got a new tranny mount from RCO enterprises here in London. It was around $90 Canadian, has smaller bushings & thicker tubes (where the bushings go). It's unfinished & needs welded. I offset it so I'll have that extra inch.

The bushing tubes on my stock crossmember were rusted out (no winters either). You could cut them out and fab something yourself... I just wanted to get it back on the road.

I've heard there's enough room for the driveshape yoke... but it's certainly something to check...

No I never stop. Thats half the fun, ALWAYS find something to work on the car!

On my TKO trans, the crossmember was already moved back as far as it can go. I need another inch (or 2"), and it wont go anymore. So I will have to add some metal to the "plate" of it, and extend some slots even further back.

My goal is to get closer than the 57/43 front/rear ratio I have right now. The BIG help will be the aluminum heads I hope to install this winter.
