Post brakes

I'm looking at getting new brake pads. After researching this as much as one can do in one night, I've come down to deciding between Hawk HPS Plus, Peformance Friction Z-rated, and PF Carbon Metallic. Some recomendations for the PFZ's were in the archives. The local shops here (Nor Cal) seem to mostly carry Hawk HPS pads. I couldn't find any info on the Carbon Metallics, but they were listed by Perf. Friction, so I was curious about them. I think the prices on all pads are approximately the same, but are there significant performance differences?

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. These are for a daily driver that sees an autocross (stock class) on a regular basis and some aggressive street driving, as well as lots of open hwy miles.

thx!!!

The shops local to metro-Detroit carry PF-Z pads at Autozone. I used these on my stock brakes for a few years. Got new warranty pads every spring
Hawk HPS pads I hear are good too. Never used them myself.
I think between the two is like arguing between Mobil-1 and Syntec synthetic oils. Both are great, just pick a brand...
