Question Yet another exhaust question....

Ok, I am not going to ask which exhaust is better/louder. That has been done to death . But, I had a friend stop by last night (he built himself a bada*s 55 Chevy) to see my car. We talked for a long time and ended up talking about exhaust.

What do you guys think about running long tube headers to side pipes (with high flow cats and mufflers)? Maybe fit them into Roush rocker panels?

He said it should not cost too much to have done, maybe less than the cost of just the Borla cat back exhaust. Should be loud, but I don't really want obnoxious (well, maybe ).

Oh, and Scott, if you get in here, if there is anything you'd like to add, go for it buddy!

I have some new never used mac LT headers that I got when I first bought my cobra.

Your idea sounds good. If you are interseted in my headers lemme know and I will give you a good deal.

Later,

If i can figure out how much this might cost me, I might take you up on that deal. I just need to know the ballpark figure. You think it would be more or less than $700? I don't have much experience with side exhaust and what it would take to do (how long, and materials, etc.).
