Front coil-over kits

I have the D&D Motorsports front coil-over kit and it seems to be a piece of crap. The spring is actually rubbing the acme threaded sleeve on the strut and making a terrible squeaking sound, not to mention it has actually worn the threads off a portion of the sleeve. I know that this is very bad for the springs and could eventually cause them to break, as well as introducing extra spring rate from the rubbing. I believe that the cause is the fact that the kit is 'universal', so the sleeve does not fit that tight over my Tokico 5-ways, allowing the spring to bow.
Can anyone who has front coilovers tell me how they like the brand they have?

Rudy did a real nice wite-up in the tech articles here on Mustangworks. Lots of detail and good photos.

I like the HAL QA1 stuff myself. aluminum shock with acme threads roled right into the body of the strut itself

Hey Drudis, whats yer spring rate, almost every kit I see has either 225 or 175 pound springs?

Does HAL make these kits for handling as well? I am looking for a kit with springs in the neighborhood of 350lb/in.

My front springs are 400# coilovers (or about 880# stock location).

Well, I ended up going with the Griggs kit with 350lb/in springs. Thanks for the input.
The roads are pretty bumpy where I live, but the 300s I had weren't that bad, so I figure I can handle the 350lb/in.
Next step is torque arm and panhard bar, then the suspension will be done.
