![]() I have a 93 GT converted from an AOD to a T-5 so I have the stock 2:73 gears still. The only mods I have so far are a MSD 6AL, and a MAC cat-back, My best time is a 14.803 with a .6XX RT. I know I need new gears but I don't know what ratio I should get, Can anyone help. I know that I still want some highway driveability and so I don't think 4:10's will suit. Also this summer i am Looking to spend around 1000 on mods seing how I am in College and money is tight. What's the best route to go Exhaust and Gears? Heads? Let me know, thanks.

![]() 3.73s-$400, fuel pressure reg. and gauge ($80?), off road h pipe ($120), race crank pulley, cobra water pump pulley ($70), try to find a used manual rack at junk yard ($100), a pretty bbk cold air fender kit ($130), and a aluminum driveshaft ($160). thats a little over a grand and your best bet

![]() Hiway drivability is different in everyones eye.
W/ 4.10's you will turn 3 grand at about 75-80 Gear is a must. 3.73 or 4.10 is your choice. Exhaust and heads are the 2 biggest bottle necks your car has. For a grand???? Gear, headers, h-pipe, cat-back, tires 5 speed will go low to mid 13's ------------------ 4.10's,long tubes & 75 shot...Goes 12.50's Check it out at http://www.burnouts.stangnet.com 11's coming soon!!!! Heads, intake and cam are all here |

![]() 4.10s is too much in a 5 spd... i'd say your real choice is 3.55 or 3.73, most 5 spd cars around here run 3.55 and hardly any run 14s

![]() I'm running 3.55 gears. It gives you good highway drving and quick rpms for the 1/4 mile. All my other mods are listed below and work very well together. Like you i'm in college and working and don't have alot to spend. So shop around and exhaust all the avenues when it comes to mods, you can save some cash that way. Good Luck!!
