Post Gearing for auto x-ing

Ok, for straight line racing, people will say to get 3.73s or 4.10s. What is the optimal r&p gear for auto x-ing a 5 spd 99GT?

It depens any where from 3.27-4.10 what ever the track needs I think the 4.10 is more for Hill climbs.

It depends...

Sure more gear is better, but how much is too much. I would try 3.73's , and thats what I have in my S-trim opentrack Mustang.
4.10's would seem a bit too steep, and 3.55's seem like not enough.
