Default general ignition question

installing an msd 6a and also replacing stock coil with msd blaster. should i replace my FMS 9mm wires, bosch +4 plugs, and accel cap/rotor as well? all have 25k on them. i know the plugs last a long time but autolites are better performance. i know the stuff is all cheap but are the wires and others necessary or just a good idea to change?

If the other components are still in good shape, why replace them? Do a resistance check on the wires ( not sure of the ohms/ft on FMS wires) and if there within spec I'd run them. But I'm kind of cheap that way

What you have is fine. If you want to spend the extra money on MSD wires, Autolites and a new cap & rotor thats up to you. You will have performed a better tune up and most likely get better performance and fuel economy, if your original parts are worn out.

By the way, if you havn't gotten the MSD yet, upgrade to a MSD-6AL.
My 2 cents

I do a full tune-up every spring (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, etc.) and I only drive ~3k miles a year. Your parts probably don't need replaced but it's only a few extra $ to get new stuff.

I agree, replace all. Why leave any potential weak links.
You will be getting more power now with the msd and if anything is worn out it will leave you on side of the road. In my opinion, the bosh plugs dont do the mustang justice. I tried them once and took em out 10 minutes later.
