Default Handling set-up

WOW!! Figured this section would be a bit busier. Well I'll get some thing started.

I want to set the stang up to run fast of course but I also love a good handling car. I like to be able to loose people in the corners not just going straight. What's a good suspension set-up for somthing like this?

PS: Drudis I absolutly LOVE your stang. That is gorgeous!! Damn fine job.

This has been sort'a covered before (search the archives), but I wll add my $.02 .

IMOHO, you gotta DECIDE what you want. Do you want a street/stip car, a daily driver, a semi-daily with handling, balls-out track car...?

For a "street" ride (barely ever a track event), I highly recommend the Steeda 5-link. Some of my friends were involved in the original design.
Other than that, then I would go Griggs. That is more track-duty (strong) and you pay for what you get.
Some like Maximum Motorsports, and I have seen it on people's cars (on the net) but never been in one live. Maybe some of the events I will be at this year, someone will have it.

Thanks for the compliment.

Hey I appreciate it drudis. I think I'll go with the 5 link. Any ideas about what that set-up runs? Guess I could actually do something and look it up. Thanks again!

I think the 5-link is right around $1000 and does not include the springs they recommend with it.
