Default I need help with my suspension

I pretty much have a stock 5.0 as you could see in my profile. I was wondering what are some suspension mods I could do (I want to work on my car, not a shop) that will help me hook up better? Will replacing all of my bushings with polyurathaine (sp) help? This will be a daily driver that runs about once a month at the local track? Thanks, Keith

Straightline racing, a set of soft tires would do the most bang for the buck.
Followed by some lower control arms (like megabite Sr's).

Other than that, its mucho work redoing springs and shocks... to get it to hook.

p.s. You DO have welded subframes already, RIGHT! ???

Default yes, I have welded subframes

Although, I have yet to get them welded up. I was considering getting a strut tower brace as well to stiffin up the chassis. How hard is it to replace lower, or upper control arms? Are there any special tools required? Thanks, Keith

No real special tools. You might need a buddy to help muscle it all in (align the bolts) but otherwise its pretty simple.
