Post K-Member alignment

Phew, finally got my tubular K-member ordered and on the way. My question is;

What is the proper way to align the K-member in respect to the cars body or with the rear suspension? Its a HAL k-member, but it always seems when you get the part it comes with the bare minimum of instructions

it always seems something like this

Step one: take off all your old stuff
Step two: put on all your new stuff
Step three: wipe grease off of your hands and your finished.
Note: part may require addtional components, fabrication and the skills of a proffesional mechanic.

My worst fear the car will be crabbing down the road so bad, the front end will be in one lane and the back will be in the other

according to the mustang performance handbook II your supposed to measure in an X fashion... from the front drivers-side k-member mounting bolts to rear passenger control arm bolts and visa versa...ive never done it though, good luck.
