Need tech tips for lowering an 02 GT

I'm considering lowering my GT using the Ford Raceing "C" springs, according to the specs this should result in about an inch and some change front and back.

Should I also consider the caster and camber plates or can proper alignment be acheived without this additional cost?

Will other geometric/handling problems/concerns need to be addressed also?

I plan to do this myself, are there any "lessons learned" out there that could be passed on that would save me some time and money?

Thanks in advance!

C/C plates arent always mandatory (you may get away with an alignment without them), but typically if you are already playing with the suspension, they are a good investment.
Dont go for flash, get some that are STRONG. Personally, I like Maximum Motorsports.

i would take it in and have some where do it for you. if you are goig to do it just remeber the car has to setle after you ajust it. after you did it i would take it in to have some one check the aliment and camber just to be safe it is like 34 dollers to have some one do a alinment.
