Exclamation data plate and dash VIN contradiction ??????

Finally bothered to take the paint off of my door data plate from when it was painted over at the paint shop. Well it doesn't match my dash VIN. Which one is more likely to be wrong. I would think the door one is wrong but I wanted to see what you guys thought. Dash reads 9F02L186406
Data Plate reads 9F02F115205 ????????

Agreed the door was probably changed sometime. Was you car orignally a 6 cyl. car?? Which number is on title?? I'm not sure about 69, but prior years the vin number was also stamped on the left front fender apron. Sometimes you have to pull the fender away alittle to see it.

I guess it was originally a six cylinder car.
I know for the last 12 years it's had a 302 in it it. The L is on the title also.
