stiffening my 04 V6 convertible

Hi Kids: My name is Tom; I just bought a white on white 40th anniversary edition but it wiggles a bit too much. Would one of those bolt on affairs that goes across the top of the motor from the center out to each shock tower help reduce the cowl shaking? Can anyone recommend a good value aftermarket source? I cannot afford to sink a fortune into something like this but would like to tighten things up a bit. If anyone cares, I posted a similar question on small ponies with a picture of my car. Somebody there suggested I come over here and ask you all. Thanks in advance! --TH

If your V6 vert is like a GT then you already have bolt-in subframe connectors and a 4-pt. lower cross brace. If that is the case you could try a strut tower bar first and see if that helps. If not, I would recommend some weld-in subframe connectors. I like Maximum Motorsports stuff myself, but it's not the cheapest.

WELDED in subframes will do wonders.
