springs

what springs would give me the best bang for the buck on a street car that sees the strip about twice a year?

Re: springs

I had the Eibach "street" (or whatever they call them now) springs. These lowered the car about 1.5" and were only 10% stiffer in ride, and thus better handling. Didnt overload the shocks/struts either.
Excellent choice.

Another quality set is the H&R.

All others I lump into the "all others" category.

Re: springs

mustangs unlimited has a set that is like 640 in front and 240 or 60 in back. lowers the car about 1 inch and is in the 150 price range. would this be to much?

Re: springs

Those rates and the amount of lowering are reasonable but IMO you get what you pay for. Cheap springs tend to sag over time or the car might not sit right from the get go. Like Drudis said - Eibach and H&R are high quality.
