If you give the car more positive caster it will be more stable going straight and positive caster also turns into negative camber as you turn the wheels, so you can get better handling without having a bunch of negative camber and wearing the insides of the tire out faster. Most folks recommend around 5 deg. positive caster.
Big tires also tend to want to follow irregularities in the road more.
