Rear gears

What rear gears do you road race guys run?

that depends on your type of racing and place to be raced

I've used 4.10 last year for our peculiar type of solo, a friend of mine even ran on 4.36

When tried the car at the open circuit did found that it was to short and 4th and 6000 rpm was way too far from turn one and had to shift to 5th and that is a total waste of time, cause shift time is to big and it doesn't matter the gear you use the hole between 4th adn 5th is too big.

Planning to get back to 3.73 as soon as get receive my torsen

You gotta figure out what you NEED.

Depending on the track and horsepower and what trans gear you wanna run in...

I run a 3.73 gear with an S-trim motor. Does fine on local tracks between 3rd/4th. I had it at MIS and ran 5300rpm in 5th!

I think htat i'm gonnna go with 3.55's, I daily drive my car, and would still like some gas mileage. Hell, if I could find 3.27's, i'd get em....I like gas mileage.
