Thumbs up Ford Centennial Photos

Well, all went well at the Ford 100th Centennial Celebration event. There were a zoo of people there over the weekend and thousands of cars on display! I've created a new photo category in the Media Center where I have uploaded some photos I took. Also, any registered member who attended can also add photos to this category too. So if you were there feel free to add your photos, as well.

You'll find all the photos in the "Ford 100th Centennial Celebration" category under Photo Archives in the Media Center.

I was there on Friday and on Sunday (Toby Keith kicked arse).

I happened to notice a lonely Red 91' Mustang in a sea of 60's and 70's Stangs too. Your car looked good out there Dan and if I didn't know what was under the hood, I would've thought it was another low 14/high 13 second car. Of course the 5.8 badges throw that theory out the window.

It was definitely cool to see all of the Mustangs there. I took a bunch of video, which I drooled at when I sat down and watched it.

Did anyone check out the Future Truck tent. I was on the Michigan Tech team. Ours was the yellow explorer with the greenish/gray front end. We got third out of fifteen universities in the yearly competition.

It was awesome to see the 100th birthday for Ford. It's too bad more Mustangworks people didn't live in the Detroit area, because I am sure they would have enjoyed it.

MTU 50 - Thanks for the compliments on the car! It was a nice show, but rather a miserable weekend for me. Friday I was out all day and had no sunscreen. I didn't think about bringing any because I had been told our club would be in a tent. But, it turned out that we weren't... We were NEXT to one... The Ford Parts tent (Darius! ) It was overcast, but that doesn't stop the UV. I am very fair skinned and have always burned easy. I ended up getting scortched! After friday my face matched my car. So, I was hurting pretty good and didn't go on Saturday, although my car was there on display with the SAAC-MCR club still.
