Post 65 -67 REAREND

Is a 65 rearend shorter than a 67? And if it is by how much? Any help would be great.

I do know the 67' is longer. By how Much not sure. Maybe about 4"

The Mustang Chassis was widened between the 66 and 67 productions years. Everything else was widened to fit it. Fostang is correct, but like him, I also do not know the exact width difference.

I personally believe it was 2". Don't bet on that, it's just a guess. Do a search of the archives. I think there is a link to a site with a table of differential housing widths. Seems like BlackSunshine had a topic on this not too long ago.
