Default New Traqmate Complete - GPS & data acquisition

Just bought a new Traqmate.com GPS Data Acquisition Complete unit.

Finished mounting and wiring it up into the car last night (till 1:00am). Will go out testing tomorrow at Waterford 08/17/2007 (instructing for Roush Mustang).

Excited to gather data, analysis, and then make some AWESOME videos...

Teaser on sample video, and demo software:

Aw $%#^ !!!
Got my personal best lap at Waterford, and the video camera timed out waiting in pit lane. So NO VIDEO!!! ARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!

Did review the stats of the run. Wow, this analysis software showed me how little it takes to lose time. One small lift of the throttle, is worth more than you think. Entering a turn a wee bit hot, and not getting on the throttle leaves even more on the table.

Need to add comments/analysis to the charts, but here is the raw data:

Here is track, Start/finish line, and follow the direction of the arrow:

Notice the g-force circle (and no, its not a fluke, I am pulling a sustained 1.2+g with peaks at 1.5g):

Okay, here is the raw data. Notice the non-max g's on some of the corners, so I left some on the table. Also notice the rpm's of the track, mid-range only (too small of a track):

Ok no video of the current session...

Check out the vidoe I posted on YouTube.
(yeah, I messed up on the braking zone on the back straight, and had to pedal out of it...)
This is my first attempt at TrackVision video software.

that is really cool. How much does a setup like that cost? Im nowhere near the level of driving for really needing one but im intrigued.

There is a link off the very first post to Traqmate.com GPS Data Acquisition , and the unit runs about $1000 for everything that I got.

Yeah that was a lot, but at this point, that is what was needed to shave those last few tenths of a second off my lap times.
