HAL and D&D motorsports are about the only others that come to mind. If you are wanting it for handling/roadracing, I would go with Griggs or Kenny Brown (MM too if they ever release it) as they are a little stronger. The other brands are lighter and good for drag racing.

Thanx blu,
I have a friend with a griggs unit, but wheel are moved too much to the front and to the outside (even this is good for the handling of the car, there's too much work to be done with the fenders) I've mailed Chuck of MM asking him if he may give any hint about his. I'll post here any news ------------------ 92GT, SOLO RACER, COBRA BRAKES, R1 TIRES, GT40, GT40X HEADS 58CC, 24LBS, 70MM/65MM, E303, MAC 1"5/8 LT HEADERS, 3" XPIPE AND EXHAUST W/CUT OFFS, 4.10, H&R 950-1050 SPRINGS, BILSTEIN SHOCKS, MM PANHARD AND TA, MANY ROAD RACE MODS, CORVETTE, CAMARO, RX7 AND SUPRA SOLO EVENT EATER www.killersracing.com www.clubcopa.com <IMG SRC="http://www.killersracing.com/lito/mustan |

I have the full griggs setup and don't have any fender clearance problems. I have a 94 but I haven't heard of this being a problem in any griggs car. Even if it was the work would be worth the incredible difference in the cars handling and acceleration.
I race Solo II and am competitive against highly modified corvettes, RX7s, and the like. Beware that if you are a hard core solo II racer ANY K member swap will land you in C Prepared and will disqualify you for E Street Prepared AND Street Modified acording to National SCCA Solo Rules. You would have to check your regional rules if you don't race on a national level. Have fun! |

The friend that installed the griggs setup had an 89LX, the fenders of this cars are different than 89-93 and yours have even more space. that might be the difference. He was also using some weird combination of spindle and discs so that would explain all the matter.
Chuck told me that his kmember is still in the making (finishing production fixtures), so I think I'll till his unit comes out. ------------------ 92GT, SOLO RACER, COBRA BRAKES, R1 TIRES, GT40, GT40X HEADS 58CC, 24LBS, 70MM/65MM, E303, MAC 1"5/8 LT HEADERS, 3" XPIPE AND EXHAUST W/CUT OFFS, 4.10, H&R 950-1050 SPRINGS, BILSTEIN SHOCKS, MM PANHARD AND TA, MANY ROAD RACE MODS, CORVETTE, CAMARO, RX7 AND SUPRA SOLO EVENT EATER www.killersracing.com www.clubcopa.com <IMG SRC="http://www.killersracing.com/lito/mustan |
