Question Springs and stuff

I'am running STEEDA sport springs as part of their G-trac III Suspension. I'am getting too much dive under hard braking into the corners. I have the TOKIKCO's set at 3 front and 2 rear. Has anyone tried STEEDA progressive springs. I think they are 650-850#/in compared to the sports @600#/in linear ?
Also, Has anyone tried moving weight to the rear, like the battery? Is it easy/legal?
Thanks,
Dan
