Which Tires, which size
I hope to have my 83 capri ready for xcross by the end of july. It has 88 gt wheels on it. The stock tires are going to go. Anybody have a preferance on tires for xcorss & some street use. I don't want a special compound tire. Should I stick with the 225/60's or try to go lower profile. I'm not sure what will fit on those rims.
Thanks |

Go to www.tirerack.com Order some RE71 tires in a 225-50's. Yeah they arent THAT wide, and you _may_ want to go 245's, but that depends on your fender clearance and wheel width.
THe RE71 is a GREAT tire, but the wear UTOQ rating is 140 (slicks are like 60, and street tires are near 300), so they wear pretty fast. ------------------ Darius Rudis Roadracer: Home built t-arm/panhard suspension powered by an S-trimmed motor :-) My Mustang Page |
