Street Prepared?
Is my fiberglass hood legal in street prepared? If so are any of my mods illegal? I'm not sure what class I'll be running in next season. Thanks!

1989GT,
CHECK WITH YOUR ASUTOCROSS CLUB AND SEE IF THEY HAVE AN OPEN STREET PREPARED CLASS. IF THEY DO, IT ALLOWS A TON OF MODS. ------------------ cool tan 5.0 cover car may 99 triple threat |

cool tan, I saw your car on the cover of 5.0 Magazine a while back, and recognized the sticker for SMS Racing. I also see that you live in VA Beach?
I am currently stationed at Langley AFB, and live in Hampton. I have heard that SMS is no longer around, but that Greg is working out of Performance Unlimited now or something? I haven't seen those guys in quite a while... not since I was talking to them about an EFI 396 stroker buildup. The price on that thing got way too high, way too fast, so I dropped that idea. If you ever want to get together and go hunting for street races, or go to the track, or just bench race or something, just lemme know. I normally hang out on the north side of the water, but that's only because I don't know the street scene at all on the south side. As I slowly delve through the corner carvers, I see that I'm coming across more "friends" from the Hampton Roads area, I am currently at Naval Station and am a true corner lover, not really that keen on the straight-a-ways unless there's a nice set of S's at the end and beginnning. Wouldn't mind getting together sometime to talk shop.
