specific or progresive rate lowering springs

i am wondering if anyone had thoughts on which style of spring is better for street applications and if you would even be able to tell the difference thanks for your thoughts

Progressive rates make for a much smoother ride over bumps on the street since they get progressively stiffer as they are compressed. Specific rates are OK if you are not going to get high spring rates or if you are just going to race on the track where there are no bumps.

"lowering" springs, eh? ick.

despite, if its a street car, get progressive rates. if you are doing pretty much anything other than the the FMS b or c springs, you need to get some caster/camber plates or you'll look more like a ricer.
