street suspension?
Well, I am still deciding where to spend my summer money and am thinking more and more that suspension would be a good choice. My 1990 hatchback has about 140,000 miles on it and as far as I know all the suspension is stock. Obviously, I am due for some new components.
I would like to find a complete package to buy, although it is not necessary. I just want a good set up for the street and want a good ride quality, as I won't be racing my car (except for a few possible runs down the 1/4 mile). What do you guys recommend? I have been looking at Western Motorsports 1 G street kit which includes eibach springs and Tokico shocks and struts. What do you think? |
Look WAAAAAAY back in this forrum. I posted a buildup process...
Shocks Springs Subframes. Now stop! Anymore will cost you LOTS! |
Thanks Drudis! Although now it looks like money may not be there for everything I wanted to do, so I will just have to wait :( .

A good budget set up would be (my opinion) Steeda sport springs,Tokico 5 way adjustables, sub frames and either sway bars or control arms.If u have more money then go with strut tower brace, castercamber, and the G load brace.Remember if u want the strong stuff then get the 4130 alloy.
However if money is not an object then go Kenny Brown level 1 through 5, 5 being the best. |
