Default Strut to spindle Question

If I were to buy a set of struts for my 87-93 spindles, could these same struts be used on 96+ spindles when I Choose to swap at a later date.(that move would be for a brake upgrade in the future).

Thanks!

yes. it is the 86 and older struts that you cant do it with. I am in the process of doing the Cobra conversion.

Yes, and thats the preferred method (versus the reverse of getting 96+ struts which are longer and risk bottoming out).

So buying a set of struts for an 87-93 and adding the spindles from the 94 up will work.. I was told differently but I trust my sources here much more. I am going to do the cobra conversion on the 86 Coupoe I am building. Just glad to know that the plasn I had will work.
