suspension swap

Just bought a 87 coupe to do a v8 convertion, and my donor car is a 89 convertible. My question is can i use the the suspension parts without having any problems, i know when you buy parts they ask if it conv. or hrdtop. It has mac progessive rate springs with kybs all around. Any help would be appriated

I'm pretty sure that there is a difference in springs, the convert has stiffer ones in the back, but I don't know what, if anything, else there is.

Other than cahssis bracing for the weaker convertible, I dont believe there is any difference in the two V8 cars.
