Post Total Control any good???

I've been doing a little research into some upgrades on my car and noticed that Total Control stuff tends to be a bit more spendy than other brands. Is TC stuff any better or are you basically buying a name(or movie)? I am interested in all suspension and steering upgrades but after adding it up was costing me an arm and some legs.

Just curious if anybody has used any TC stuff compared to other stuff.

1966 Baby blue Coupe, 289, Manual 3-speed, Edelbrock 650, Flowmaster 3-chambers, and minor upgrades. Interior work includes custom paneling, custom dash dress-up(I refuse to cut anything out of the original), Rewiring most of the electronics, Porsche 911 seats installed soon, and Stroker kit when I get to Texas. November of 2001 I will go back to Dallas.

Thumbs up

I have their subframe connectors, complete tower brace kit, and throttle linkage kit and they all are excellent pieces. After my 6 speed upgrade I will be putting in their r&p steering system. I can tell you that the subframes and tower brace kits are quality pieces, superior to others I've seen.

TCP makes excellent products, very high quality and top notch. They were around long before 'Gone in 60 Seconds,' so their prices aren't based on the movie fame.

There are several other companies you can look to for performance suspensions. One is Global West, another is Cobra Performance I believe. Don't think that the prices are much better though.

How about a MII front end conversion? www.rcmotorsports.net You can get the kits cheaper through Hot Rods USA, but Rod and Customs is very well known.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll probably end up waiting and going with TC stuff anyway. I'll also look into the Rod and Custom place.
