Got a quick question preferably just an answer and not directions to someone that knows but i will take both. can i remove my smog pump from the engine b4 i instaull it in my ranger or do i got to have the smog pump for the fuel injection.

I have the smog off my 93 with no probs, you should be able to.

Dont remove the smog pump if you still have cats cause if you do they will clogg up in a matter of weeks.

If you no longer have cats remove the smog pump cause it is worthless.

BTW: Removing the smog pump only gets you about 1-2 HP.
