Welcome to the group. I almost bought a Trans Am before I decided on my Cobra. How do you like yours? Is it a Ram Air? Which is faster, the T/A or the Mustang?

Thumbs up

They are like having kids you can't choose one over the other. I kind of consider them brothers so if someone picks on my Stang he goes and gets his older brother the T/A to take care of business. The T/A is a beast when it comes to all around power and no its only the regular T/A and not the ram air. The mustang is better all around car, which is what I drive everyday and I have the T/A in storage.

Cool

Welcome folks!

There's quite a bit of knowledge amassed in the folks who browse through here. I certainly help when I can too!

Drag,
The new 2000 GTs are great cars. Dependable daily drivers that are darn quick and easy to modify.... (Although it can get expensive compared to 5.0 parts)

I think you'll be amazed at the after-market support of the late model Mustangs...

Welcome to the board. I like vettes, too, and have much respect for GM's sports cars. This a very good board. Nothing but speed/performance junkies.

As most people here are, I'm a true car lover. I know people that are, "oh, you have Cobra. You must hate GMs." That bothers me. I love LS1s. It was a hard choice... Cobra or WS6... The Vette was out of my price range... I think I made the right choice, but man, gotta love the LS1.

Anyhow, welcome. Its always good to have a different perspective.
