I want to replace my 8.8" rearend in my '83 Bronco 4x4 with a Ford Sterling 10.25" rearend. Does anyone know if I could just bolt one in from a '92-'96 F250 or find a 9" Ford rearend? The truck is a daily driven, has 31" BFG tires, a 302 (soon to be rebuilt), C4 and occasionally towed my Mustang GT.

I don't know jack about a 10.25" rear end but hopefully this link will help. Go over to www.f150online.com/ to their web board and post in there. Surely you could find someone over there to help you out. You might also try www.pirate4x4.com/ and post in the Ford section of the web board. Those guys know alot especially for 4x4's. I'd say they could for sure tell you what you need to do.

Those guys told me to go with the 9" Ford, but bigger is always better. I'm still going to try the 10.25" Ford Streling.
