NEW EXHAUST PRICES??
hi, i was wondering how much it would cost to purchase and have someone install a K&N filter?? Are those thigns hard to install?
and also, how much would it be to have someone install a Dual Exhaust system in my 2000 mustang v6? |

A K&N filter is fairly simple to install.
You should consider doing this yourself, but if you had a shop do it for you, I can't imagine they would charge more than $10. Duel exhaust installation would probably take about two hours at best. Figure around $50. per hour labor as a rule - could be a bit more depending where you live. Parts; (H-pipe, mufflers, tailpipes, etc) can run $300. or better, so this could easily be a $400. to $500. job. I don't have parts information handy so I can't give you precise numbers, but a call to a good muffler shop might be a good idea. |
