Post Annoying whistling coming from under hood....;)

What is going on here . I had six different people chicken out of races today. Two camaros, one SS and one Z-28, some guy in a nice new red C-5, a new Fire Bird, one yellow 98 GT, and one black 99-00 GT. This is really starting to tick me off. AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Guess I just can't get nobody to run. Oh I almost forgot, this is funny. I had four hot girls in a 99 V-6 try to run me . It was cool I play around with them for a little while, but they were soooo hot that I had to let them win. It's all good though, cuz they are here with me now..HEHE

Ty'97Cobra:

I love my Vortech to death; I'm running the V-2 S-trim w/aftercooler at 12# @6000, it swings to 13.5#@6500 everynow and then . My father and I did all the work on my car so I can't help you out on installation cost. But if you were to do it yourself the manuals that Vortech sends have it nicely mapped out, it took my father and I 10 hours to do the whole install. Including relocating the battery, changing the pullies, and getting the pump wired.

The S-Trim that I have has the Straight cut gears(loud) in it not the Helicut gears(quite). Ummm inside the car you can hear it loudest around 1600-1700(it really whines) pretty loud at idle to. At idle you can hear it over my 3-chamber flows ,X-pipe, and turn downs untill you get right up on the car. From a distance at idle you can hear it a good 50-60ft just purring. After that it gets pretty quite at highway speeds, with a T-56 and 3.73's I'm turning 2100@70mph and can't even hear it. If you bring the revs up and jump on it, it starts to get pretty loud again. I'm not sure how loud the V-SQ with the Helicut gears is, but I've heard that it's pretty quite. My blower is also loud because I'm not running my stock hood, I'm running a Cobra R hood w/SVO scoop that is a 2.5 cowl. So my engine compartment is no longer sealed, which causes it to be louder that it would be with a sealed hood.

If you do deside to get one I'm sure that you will love it. The first week after I started driving my car, it was all I could do to keep from blowing the tires off of it. Not because I wanted to blow the tires off, but because there was such a big power differents. So I sure that you will love it.
