Why i like mustangs
A few years ago when i really started paying attention to cars, i found the perfect car. A brand new, electric blue mustang. With leather interior, c/d player and all the other things that makes a mustang great. I fell in love with the car. I now get models of mustangs, pics, and calendars of them. I like pretty much all the older models as well as the new ones. They have to be the greatest car. I hope you enjoy a mustang as much as i do.

Yes, the mustang is a great car...
It was the rumble of the V8, that did me in. The Chev and Pontiac V8's sound too sloppy for me. Plus the Mustang has a lot of cool history. ------------------ 1995 Mustang GT |

I must be honest. While the mustang is by far my favorite, I hold a special place in my heart for all the older 60's-70's era muscle cars.
Something about riding around in a car that doesn't have a heater or ac that is kind of nostalgic. My mustang gives me that warm feeling in my heart everytime I fire up the old girl in the morning. She may not be the fastest or the shiniest, but she keeps on ticking and I can feel her breathe like no other vehicle before her. This is why I love my mustang and I would deny no one this feeling, whether it was for a ford or chevy. |

I once had a 78 t/a 4spd t-top, i thought it was fast, and it was, but riding in a friends 88 hatch lx (12 sec) was all it took for me, i finally got one, a coupe though, although it is like said above, a 14.0 car, it really impresses everyone that rides in it, and i do get quite a few looks as i rumble bye with the h-pipe and 3 chamber flows sound, plus i never seen no better reliability in any other domestic car.

wanna know what attracted me to mustangs:
THE TORQUE. The feeling of being pushed back in the seat at nearly all RPMs and being able to cruise with 3 or 4 friends in the car and not have it weezing and whining. I love the styling of all year mustangs (yes, even the PINTO-ized mustang II's). The thing that i love about mustangs is that there's a flavor mustang for everyone. For example: straight line speed Mach 1 or Boss 429, Hipo 289, etc. or corner carving like the shelby, '84-'86 SVO or the Boss 302, or a balanced package like the 80's and up GT's and 5.0L's. You can have one plain jane with minimum "unnecessities" or you can have it loaded with all the "necessities", there's a flavor for all mustang enthusiasts. Even in the styling there are many years to choose from for your liking. These or some of the reasons that i love mustangs. ------------------ previous name: 84stangLX '84 Mustang 5.0 LX my LX '89 Mustang GT my GT |

Yeah, I pretty much have always had a love affair with mustangs. Ever since my cousin gave me a ride in his 79' it had a 351 and was mostly a drag only car. That thing was the fastest and loudest car I had ever been in. I was probably 10 or 11 years old at the time. It was great, and it left a lasting impression on me. Anyway, welcome aboard.
