Those times are pretty descent for your truck. That would be a 16.77 @85 or so in the 1/4.
I dont think burnouts are necessary on street tires. If anything its hurting you. My 00' GMC which came with 270HP only ran a 16.40 @86 stock.
You should be able to get that truck in the 15's with minimal effort.
