Thumbs down Output Shaft

So I have a 2000 Ford Mustang. I took it in to have an oil change done and they informed me that I have an Output Shaft seal leak. I know it's a transmission leak of a sort, and I've fixed such things. But I'm not so sure what the Output Shaft is, where it is, etc.

Browsing through Google didn't prove much help, so anything help here would be appreciated. Thanks.
