72 ford F250 won't start help

hey i got a 72 f250 that wont start and i need some help, im 14 years old. the truck was running then it just stoped running and it won't start. the engine is geting gas, spark, and it has good compression. It has new points and the timing was right. but it wont fire. but went i was working on it tonight i found out that the carb is blowing air out insted of pulling air in. so what would make that happen?? , did the cam or timeing chain break or something? thanks

When did it stop running?, was it after you set the points? If compression is "good" then it's unlikely it is a timing chain concern because if it jumped, compression would be low. Pull the spark plugs, are they fuel fouled, completely dry?
I would try to clean off the spark plugs with a torch (butane, etc.) and attempt to restart it. Also i would check and make sure that cylinder 1 is on top dead center and make sure the rotor is pointed to the number one plug wire terminal. You can also check timing while someone is cranking the engine over, just make sure the vacuum advance hose is disconnected.
Good luck,
