94 tbird 4.6l SOHC
 

I just picked up a 94 Thunderbird LX 4.6L sohc automatic tranny, the gear select knob and console is loose. What is the correct way to take it off and replace it with a new one. I don't wanna trash it the car is all original and clean :)
