What's the diff between a truck 5.0 short block and a mustang 5.0 short block???

Please name everything you can think of. I blew out the bottom end of my stang and have a 5oh rotating assembelly out of an 86 f150 with only 7K on it. If I remember correctly, the truck 5.0's have lower compression like 8.5:1. Is this in the pistons or is it in the combustion chambers size? Also I know that in 86 the mustangs had flat top pistons w/o valve reliefs. Does this apply with the truck as well???

Thanks

Mike

Im not sure about the pistons in the truck motors. Its my understanding that the cam grinds are a little less aggressive in the truck motors as well.

I believe the mustang 5.0 uses the 351 firing order as well. So the cam is probably completely different.
