Default 3.8 v-6 into a ranger

I got a freind that has a I think 94 ranger with a 3.0 efi and he is intrested in more power and i`m intrested in getting rid of my 3.8 v-6 out my capri the v-6 in the capri is a carb(83) and the ranger is a efi how much work is it to switch or can it be done cheap like ( does the intake switch over, will the comp take it and so on just need help i`m not to knowlegdable on V-6 swaps )

79 burb 15.27`s at 90 mph 6800 pounds no juice do i need to say more

He would be better off going to a 5.0L but going from EFI to CArb is a whole lot easier than going the other way. No computers to deal with.

He doesn`t want much mpore power just abit and hes only considerin it because i am will to give him this 3.8 very cheap because i just wanna get rip of it and he wants to know if it can be done

Should be a pretty easy swap. The 4.0L that they put in some rangers was the same engine as the 3.8L just stroked different. Good Luck.
