Post Dual secondary air control solenoids

I have removed the smog pump and the air bypass valve and air diverter valve from my 89 5.0. and I was wondering if anyone can tell me if I can remove the dual secondary air control solenoid assembly that rests on the back of the passengerside strut tower.
Since these solenoids controls the valves that I have removed, can they be removed as well?

Dan, I believe some of those feed to a sensor that the EEC needs to see, I would also be interested in this. Anyone?

I think that one of them provides vaccum pressure to the egr valve, this so egr can dump back into the air bypass if needed but I would not need that with the air bypass valve removed.

Rick, I stumped Kim on this one too.
