Post Truck won't start

I have a 01' F250 crew cab power stroke with 38,000mi. I shut it down yesterday and came back to start it about five minutes later and nothing happenes. The lights come on all accessories work but it wont start. I changed the battery, starter, checked the fuses, and still nothin.I waited til this morning to mess with it again, go outside and it cranks right up. I turned it off and tried it again and got nothing. What the F is wrong with my truck? It's to new to have any problems. It just happens to go out when my warranty expires. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem with my stroke at 160k. It ended up being the cam sensor. It was about 130 bucks and took 5 miniutes to change. It started out being a intermitting problem then got worse and then stopped all together. Good luck. Let us know what ya find.Later...

Cool

How is it that your warranty is already up on a 01 Powerstroke? Is it because you're past 36000 miles? I thought they had better warranties than that. You should go purchase the extended warranty for it. It'll pay for itself in the long run. Have you checked your ground wires?

Heres one for ya,

Friends new Ford wrecker trucks radio would start playing with nobody in it/no key in it.

The horn would also sound off/no one around.

It also would not start on ocasion.

Turned out to be the in the key cylinder or somthing. Some kind of sensor.

????

Ok i can start it by using a screw driver on the solenoid and touching the two bolts. Does that mean the solenoid is bad.I've been doing that since it happened. It sucks when I have to valet park.
