Default F150: might buy

im lookin' into an F150...i have a stang... 2.3L but with a truck i can get the 5.0L and not get a high insurance charge.... i have been lookin' in auto selling mags in my area and have found 85-89 trucks for n e where from 750-1200 (canadian)... do these seem good... the lower price trucks only really state that the body needs sum luvin' but i can do that....

also if i get a 5.0L F150 would stang parts work? im thinking mostly headers and pipes as well as other go fast goodies... thanx for the answers gals and guys.......

also if there r n e yrs i should stay away from for sum reason plz say so and as to y i should watch out...
