Cool C&l Maf

I just installed a C&L MAF System in my 99 Gt. Does anybody know if there a bracket to support the Meter, or do I have to make one? It seems kind of lose even with the cover on it. I don't think it is good for it to be bouncing around like that.

I have one on my car and I know exactly what your talking about. You can make a bracket if you want, but I found another way to keep it up pressed against the plastic cover. Take the plastic cover off. Loosen the clamp that holds the intake tube to the throttle body. Rotate the intake tube upwards just a little bit, then tighten the clamp back down. Now, when you go to put the plastic cover back on, you will actually be pushing down on the maf sensor. This will keep it from bouncing around.

Cool

Thanks for the input. That was on of the things it did, but since the bottom of the shield is not supported it may crack around the bolt that supports the top from vibration. Call me paranoid, but I made an short L shape braket that I bolt to two of the three threaded bosses with isolation bushing for vibration. Keeps everything straight and even and the cover is used to help keep the heat out and not to support the unit.

I want to put a supercharger on my car but my wife said she will leave me if I do. I am still thinking.
