40's f1 title
Me nor my father are sure on what year it is but I think it's around a 46. we've had it for over 20 years but my dad never got a title for it or was told what year it was. I don't think he gave anything for it either. Anyway does anyone know how to get a title? Because for the past 10 years or more all I've heard is him bitching about not having a title. Thanks

Re: 40's f1 title
Contact your motor vehicle department. Most likely you'll have to apply for a lost title. But, if you never registered the title it will come back in the previous owners name. Seems if you can provide proof of new ownership a new title can be applied for in your name. Don't waste any money on the truck until you get a title.

Re: 40's f1 title
Thanks. We were told that you would have to find some numbers off the frame or something but we cant find any numbers. A lost title claim is pretty expensive in Illinois.
