Anyone out there in the Chicagoland area interested in a 83 Mustang (Has all 91 body panels and a newely rebuilt 91 block carb). I don't know how much horse power, but it gets up and goes thats for sure. It's pure race car, and not really ment for everyday driver. Defintly for someone with another car (Have a second). I'm looking to either sell it or possibly trade it for a stock 90+ good condition mustang.
I can get all the receipts from the guy I purchased it from. Has factory t-tops, the intirior isn't all that good condition. But everything else is great. Stock gearing in the back, but you wouldn't beleive the power this car has.
Took it down 394 a couple times, and a 1/4 mile block of road, I can get her up to about 130mph with stock gearing. I'm assumign thats pretty good. If anyone is interested, let me know. djkkkev@yahoo.com. I paid 8500$ for the car, and put in a about another 1500. It comes with slicks/rims and on it now, is a set of stock back rims for street drivablity. Make a offer. I would really rather trade it for a decent 5.0 90+ in good condition. Thanks!

Selling it because I almost got a 135mph speeding ticket. I don't need that. He wrote it for 85 so thank god. Cop was like "I was going 100mph, and you where still pulling hard from me". *shrug*

you will have the same problem (speed) with a 90+ stock 5.0 they are quick bone stock
i have had both a stock mustang and fbird. now my fbird is my daily because it slower and shuts down at 120 (305 tbi t-5) so i know i wont be going over 120. and built the stang
