PLayday at Beech BEnd April 13th.

Ok ladies and gents. Heres the deal. I am a member over at hardcore50.com and one of the guys there set up a date at Beech Bend the 13th of April. Heres what he wrote.

ALRIGHT GUYS,
this is where we are at. we are penciled in on april 13th, at beech bend. we will have the track from 8am till 4:30pm for just us. at 5pm, the regular saturday tnt will begin. we can stay, for that too, if you want, no other charge. we are setting the charge at $30 per race car. we are by no means looking to make money off of this deal. it is just for people to get together, and mainly to get the cars dialed in. if there is any money to be made we could order food, have a reaction time shoot out, whatever. make some suggestions....
now, for you out of town folk. how many of you are going to need a room? i have a deal in the works for rooms, but we need to have a guestimate for the hotel to reserve.
please leave a yea i will be there, if you plan on coming. please indicate, how many race cars that will be with you. i personally dont care, what makes are there. it will give us mustang people something to brag about, when we smoke a chevy. hehe

I told him I would have all the interested members here join up over there and maybe get a few more cars there. It would be cool and WE COULD USE IT AS OUR REGIONAL MEET. I think this is a good idea. Just everyone that is interested , join up over there and start talkin drag racin.

Just heard about it yesterday from a bud. We are gonna try to make it. The racecar needs some mods to the rollcage.

Hopefully we will be ready...sounds like lots of fun.
