Umm the current Dyno pricing(Show prices from World of Wheels show good till 2/28) Not sure what regualr pricing is but will post them next time I call ASAP.
$75 2 runs $25 each additional run $600 rent dyno for day They offer special club pricing from what flyer says. I'm not part of any club, just like to race at Keystone raceway and can find me usually in street or heavy class. ------------------ 2000 GT Laser red-5speed MAC Cold-air Induction MAC 2 1/2" cat back exhuast 275/50-15 Drag T/A's used at track Best Quarter mile run to date: 13.50@99.97 (1.87 60') |

Ed is a good guy and he knows his stuff. I had my car dyno'd there 2 weeks after they got it back in August. If you are having your car dyno'd there email me. There is also a chassis dyno in Washington PA off Murtland Avenue so I've heard. There is also a place called Don's performance test and tune on 10020 Meadville AT (RT18), Cranesville. The phone # is (814) 756-3432. They have a 248C Chassis dyno. ASAP has a mustang chassis dyno.
I too frequent Keystone, only on thursdays for test and tune though. Maybe you've seen me. My car is in the readers rides of this board or you can see my car on my web site at http://www.angelfire.com/pa2/killercanary ------------------ 95 GT convt' 5 speed, 3.73's,FMS HD clutch, Pro 5.0 shifter, ASP alum. underdrive pulleys, Bassani offroad X pipe, 2 chmbr flowmasters, K&N w/o silencer, edelbrock performer intake, FRPP 65mm T-body, FRPP shorty headers, FRPP aluminum driveshaft.Hooker 4pt chrome car bar, Xenon/Wings West ground effects, custom interior Best ET: 13.83 Best MPH: 98.55mph with Best 60': 1.91 on Nitto DR's Homepage: <A HREF="http://www.angelfire.com/pa2/killercanary" TARGET=_blank>http://www.angelfire. I will be seeing Ed at ASAP its only 15 minutes from my house. I also try to avoid Keystone on Test/Tune nights since it ends up being a zoo. I will be there April 1st for the first test/tune to help get use to car after mods.

THANK GOD! I've been wondering where all the performance shops were. Seems like everyone goes to Keystone. I've probably seen a few of you guys up there. Does anyone go to crafton for the street races??

I was the very first car to make a pass last year on the first day it was open. It does tend to be a zoo- that's why i always get there early and always take lane 1 or 2, that way I get through all the congestion at the back and don't end up being skipped over.
I've heard about the races in crafton for a few years, but I never went. I just recently found out exactly where they are as I just got a job out near robinson town center and I went to eat at Pirmantti's (sp) and the guy I was with said they race just down the road from there near UPS. Do they have them year round or just in the summer? I was always worried about getting nailed by the cops just for watching. I highly recommend to anyone that can make it to attend the TCTC mustang club's track day. Last year it was on August 19th. They rented the track all day on a saturday, it cost around $45 a person/car. I made 13 passes, but I could have made at least 20 if I didn't want my car to cool. It was the best time I have ever had at the track. It is a 1000X's better than thursday's test and tune. BTW- what is the website for ASAP by Ed's shop? The link above doesn't work. ------------------ 95 GT convt' 5 speed, 3.73's,FMS HD clutch, Pro 5.0 shifter, ASP alum. underdrive pulleys, Bassani offroad X pipe, 2 chmbr flowmasters, K&N w/o silencer, edelbrock performer intake, FRPP 65mm T-body, FRPP shorty headers, FRPP aluminum driveshaft.Hooker 4pt chrome car bar, Xenon/Wings West ground effects, custom interior Best ET: 13.83 Best MPH: 98.55mph with Best 60': 1.91 on Nitto DR's Homepage: <A HREF="http://www.angelfire.com/pa2/killercanary" TARGET=_blank>http://www.angelfire. |

Hmm dont know if they have a website only the email on flyer I have. As for street racing nope never done it or would bother to.
I know your pain Stang_crazy, it is a royal pain in butt to find anyone around here that does good performance work. One thing nice is that when I need parts its nothing but an 1 1/2 drive to Summit. By the way nice cars guys ------------------ 2000 GT Laser red-5speed MAC Cold-air Induction MAC 2 1/2" cat back exhuast 275/50-15 Drag T/A's used at track Best Quarter mile run to date: 13.50@99.97 (1.87 60') [This message has been edited by Ares (edited 02-09-2001).] |

Thanks, I'm assuming you looked at my website as well as the other listed above. I started doing business with Chris who had a shop called EZ racing near keystone, but he went to florida and the store has been closed since. He met or beat every price I found in magazines, he was really helpful as well. I hope he comes back, I need to order some new parts!

REALLY!!
It's about 20-25 minuntes from Monroeville on Route 22 East, just outside New Alexandria(Track on east bound side top of hill on flats). It's one of the oldest tracks in country. |

Yea, Keystone is not exactly the best of tracks but it does just fine for most of us. It takes about 40 min for me to get there from the city although you can usually fly on the way up. We'll all have to meet up sometime this summer. Does anyone know when it's going to open up?

Yeh, Keystone is not one of the top tracks in the country, and you must have a good set of brakes to get stopped at the end, but its a good track with good traction- usually. Its elevation is roughly 1100-1250 feet (I was told both). The first test and tune day is April 1st. You can see the schedule at http://www.keystoneraceway.com
It great having Mario back with the Pens- as a player! |
